PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

What singing opportunities will there be for delegates?
At the Grand Finale Gala concert, all 400 delegates (individuals and choirs alike) will gather onstage as a mass choir to sing a brand-new choral work by Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen, commissioned especially for Choral Mosaic 2020, plus other choral works by both masters and contemporary composers. The Gala concert will also feature spotlight performances for choirs who wish to sing. If your choir is interested in performing, please contact us. There are no solo performance opportunities.
Are auditions required to sing at Choral Mosaic 2020?
All are welcome to sing at Choral Mosaic 2020! You do not need to audition for any of the performance opportunities at the Grand Finale Gala Concert. All delegates (individuals and choirs) are welcome to sing in the mass choir.
How can I prepare for Grand Finale Gala Concert?
Choral Mosaic will circulate the mass choir repertoire in the weeks leading up to the festival to everyone registered for the festival so that you have time to familiarize yourself with the repertoire and to rehearse. We’re also planning open rehearsals prior to the festival that you can either attend in person or online. All registrants will receive details of these open rehearsals closer to the festival date.
