On June 26-27, 2020, approximately 400 community choir members and leaders, individual choristers and choral music lovers from across Canada, the Northern US and overseas will come to Mississauga, Canada for choral concerts, performance opportunities, and workshops. Numerous Workshops, conducted exclusively in English, will be offered during this 2-day festival.

Our 2020 conference theme is Beneath the Surface: Exploring Identity Through Choral Music. Workshop content may connect with this theme, or with other topics relevant to choral music and to our Choral Mosaic audience.

Speaker Benefits

Choral Mosaic 2020 provides a powerful platform to network with approximately 400 choral music enthusiasts and to share knowledge, lessons learned, best practices, new ideas and the joy of choral music singing. Presentation Format and Logistics

Workshop sessions are 60 minutes in length. Workshop start and end times must be strictly adhered to. Choral Mosaic representatives will be on hand during each workshop to prompt the Presenter when it is time to start and to wrap up.

Most workshop sessions will be held in conference rooms or in a small theatre with chairs only, for maximum occupancy as deemed by the facility and in accordance with venue fire safety codes. Presenters should design their presentation approaches with the facility logistics in mind. Please note that we are unable to modify or alter seating arrangements/set-ups for individual sessions. Rooms are equipped with standardized audio-visual: projection unit/screen and a microphone. Any other A/V requirements must be discussed during the application process with the Choral Mosaic Selection Committee for approval.
